Decorations in a beautiful shade of "Over-the-Hill Black"
My parents just celebrated their 50th birthdays last week! On Thursday we had them over for a little party, just us and the kids. It was nice and low-key: just dinner, dessert and presents, but Max always gets hyped up when there's a birthday in the house. He kept the party moving right along, he knows the drill- After dinner, it's not time to sit around and chat when there are unopened presents in the room! And as soon as the wrapping paper settles, it's time to blow out some candles! So we followed Max's lead and saved our conversations until after the dessert bowls were empty.
